Location: London, Mayfair
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (neg) basic + uncapped commission
Average consultant earnings: £120k (top performers £250k+)

The Opportunity

My client is a prestigious financial recruitment firm, recognised as a premium provider to some of the world’s most dynamic hedge funds, trading houses, and investment banks.

With a 15-year track record they have built long-standing relationships with clients in the $4–7bn fund range as well as leading global institutions.

You’ll be working on high-value mandates, average fees here are £90k with highest fees at £750k plus.

You’ll specialise in an area of the market, for exampleQuant, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities or Technology.

What They’re Looking For

• Success as a recruiter within capital markets, hedge funds, or trading recruitment, OR another specialist recruitment sector like technology or senior finance.

• Strong academic background, A/B grade A levels and Russell Group University

• Ambition, resilience, and a competitive mindset — motivated by excellence and exceptional earnings.

• Confidence and discretion when managing sensitive, senior-level processes.

Training Culture

You’ll join a collaborative team of ~30 consultants, most of whom are billing six figures annually. The environment is high-performing but not cut-throat: consultants share knowledge, swap market intel, and support one another to close complex mandates.
