Hybrid/Remote - 1 day per week meet-up in Sussex

£35,000 - £55,000 Base + Market-Leading Commission

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced 360 recruiter who wants more autonomy, higher value work and the chance to build something with genuine long term upside.

You'd work alongside a Director who has generated £400K in one year from a cold start - a true recruitment pro!

The Market

You’ll have the option to either build further into established specialist areas such as:

• Digital Forensics Incident Response
• Penetration Testing
• Security Architecture
• eDiscovery
• Cybersecurity Consulting
• Specialist technical security roles

Or develop adjacent areas of the cybersecurity market, including:

• Go-To-Market
• Sales and Commercial Leadership
• Customer Success
• Partnerships and Alliances
• Cybersecurity SaaS
• VC / PE-backed startups and scaleups
• High-growth security vendors

That gives you a lot more freedom than joining a desk where the market is already completely defined for you.

You can lean into existing relationships and technical expertise, or build a new vertical around the areas of cyber you know best.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of both business development and delivery, working alongside an experienced recruiter with four years of operating independently and more than 12 years of running his own business unit.

You’ll be able to:

• Build your own client base
• Develop an existing or adjacent cyber specialism
• Win retained and exclusive search assignments
• Manage senior client relationships
• Work with high-growth cybersecurity businesses internationally
• Headhunt specialist technical and commercial talent
• Support embedded hiring and team-build projects
• Shape your desk around the part of the market you find most commercially attractive

For someone coming from technology recruitment, there’s plenty of scope to transfer an existing network into cyber rather than having to start completely from scratch.

• Experienced 360 Recruitment Consultants
• Technology recruitment experience highly desirable
• Cybersecurity recruitment experience advantageous
• GTM, SaaS, startup or vendor-focused technology backgrounds also highly relevant
• Strong business development capability
• Comfortable building senior client relationships
• Commercial, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
• Keen to build a market rather than simply work incoming vacancies

You don’t need to be a cyber specialist already.

The key is having the ability to build relationships, win work and develop a credible niche within a valuable technology market.
