We'll Fight Your Corner

  • work

One of the things I am most proud of at Hypha Recruit is the level of service we offer our candidates.

Recruitment can sometimes be seen as transactional. I've heard stories of recruiters having a 10-minute conversation, sending over a list of 30 companies, asking candidates to reply "yes" to the ones they like, and then firing their CV out to every business regardless of whether they're hiring, whether the candidate is suitable, or whether the opportunity is genuinely aligned.

Plus they don't even bother to follow up with the clients, let alone knock the door down for you!

To me, that isn't just lazy. It can be career damaging.

But that has never been the way we want to work.

For us, the most important part of recruitment is the duty of care we have to the people who trust us with their careers.

Changing jobs is a big decision. It can affect your confidence, your income, your development, your work-life balance, your future prospects and, in many cases, your whole sense of direction. That deserves more than a quick call and a scattergun approach.

We would rather recommend two or three genuinely relevant companies than bombard someone with options that are not right for them.

We take the time to understand what someone actually wants from their next move, not just what they can do on paper.

Sometimes that means advising someone to wait for the right opportunity. Sometimes it means challenging their thinking. Sometimes it means telling them that a role isn't the right fit, even if it looks attractive on paper.

We also know our clients properly.

We know the people, the culture, the leadership, the expectations and what success looks like within the business.

And our clients know us, they trust us, they know if we have an amazing recruiter will will keep calling and we will fight their concern for an interview.

We provide context, overcome objections and help clients see the person behind the CV.

Once interviews are secured, we prepare candidates properly. We spend time helping them understand the opportunity, the people they're meeting, the likely questions they'll face and how to present themselves with confidence.

Our Google reviews back this up:

• "Beyond positive experience... helped me land a really great offer."

• "Brilliant from start to finish... always available."

• "Found me a job really quickly."

• "Kept in touch for 18 months before helping me make the right move."

• "Upfront, honest and reliable."

• "Prepared and coached me through everything."

• "Always transparent and helpful throughout the process."

• "Instrumental in sorting me out with an excellent role."

A huge thank you to everyone who has trusted us with their career journey and taken the time to leave a review.

And a special mention to Will, whose dedication, consistency and candidate care have been recognised repeatedly in recent feedback.

The level of service we provide is something we're genuinely proud of, and we'll continue working hard to ensure every candidate feels informed, prepared, supported and valued throughout their journey.

Because great recruitment isn't about sending CVs.

It's about helping people make career decisions and secure opportunities that genuinely improve their lives.
